Tough Cover
MODEL TC1000
To reduce the risk of SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:
READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
NEVER let children operate or play with door controls. Keep
the remote control away from children.
ALWAYS install the proper safety reversing sensors.
Without a properly installed safety reversing sensor, persons
(particularly small children) could be SERIOUSLY INJURED
or KILLED by a closing garage door.
To avoid personal INJURY or DAMAGE to property:
Avoid sharp edges when cutting to size.
NEVER allow children to play with small pieces during
installation.
OVERVIEW
Tough Cover keeps safety reversing sensors aligned and protected. Tough Cover may be attached to the door track, wall, or floor. If the
safety reversing sensors are mounted to the floor, fasten Tough Cover to the floor using concrete screws (not provided). Tough Cover
may be trimmed with standard snips to fit around an obstacle.
NOTE: The safety reversing sensors MUST be connected and aligned correctly. The sensors should be no more than 6 inches (15 cm)
above the floor.

Position Tough Cover over the safety reversing sensor and
fasten to the wall with lag bolts.
Fasten Tough Cover to the garage door track with carriage
bolts, nuts, and washers.
Test the safety reversing sensors according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
